José Manuel / Burgos

José Manuel's stables are located in the province of Soria not far from Madrid the capitimagesal of Spain. The facilities, boxes and numerous acres of riding school areas, the best conditions for horseback riding activities. They offer horseback riding routes, horse taming, horseback riding school, horseback riding classes for advanced practicers and horse sales. Right in the Arlanza river, the ville of Covarrubias forms a historical town with great artistic and architecture values, as well as environmental ones.... The river goes zig-zags in the middle of this natural scenario of high biodiversity. It keeps the medieval way of buildings, of which we can mention Santo Domingo de Silos, Salas de los Infantes and Lerma. All this makes Covarrubias the ideal place to spend your time of rest and leisure.

Riding about the Covarrubias area is an unforgettable experience for you will be seeing forests, millennium-old paths, and singular landscapes will be the scenarios for our route. The plain and the pine forests are guarded by the solid presence of the Portillo Castle, guardian for centuries of the best landscapes that seem endless. Horses here have their place, cast to a place that admires them. This is the reason why the "encierros" (sort of rodeos) in open land gather savy horsemen from many places.

José Manuel is a true horse man with a big heart for his animals. He arranges trekking trips for more than 15 years and is a guide to all journeys. On stall he has 90 Spanish-Arab-bred horses, for everyone, and so for beginners and children.
