Day 1. Welcome (Sunday)

We arrive at the rural village  in the afternoon. It is located in the heart of the Baix Empordà, in the middle of nature and hidden from passers-by. Our farmhouse with stone walls welcome you. Here you will meet the family and your guide. At dinner we will go over the week’s program, you will be told about the special characteristics of our horses. After dinner you will be given an introduction to the weeks programme with an opportunity for a one to one conversation designed to find every rider their perfect horse.

Day 2. Our medieval villages (Monday)

Today's destination is the Baix Empordà region, passing through medieval villages such as Camallera, Sant Jordi Desvalls and Gauses. We will cross gorgeous beech and holm oak forests, and we will be able to see the vineyards near Sant Jordi. We will go through Gauses, with its beautiful medieval church from the 15th Century. This morning we will enjoy nice gallops, some trots and walks.

Cycling tour! (Optional) Additionally you will have the chance to go for an easy afternoon ride around Can Muni. Depending on the ages, we can adapt the tour to suit your family. We will ride through crops and fields, woods and villages to discover the fantastic inland of Costa Brava.

Day 3. Let’s gallop! (Tuesday)

Today we propose to ride in the afternoon, setting towards the village of Verges, going pass the villages of Las Olivas, Garrigolas and, finally, Verges. Along the way we will be able to enjoy long gallops. We will see the plain part of this area, following in the distance the path of the Fluvia River.

Prehistorical caves in Serinyà (morning). (Optional) The Prehistorical caves of Serinyà are a great opportunity to discover our furthest past in a natural environment. The population who lived here can be differentiated roughly into three periods: the preneandertals, then Neanderthals (hunters and therefore nomads) and finally modern humans (Homo sapiens sapiens) who already used tools worked with flint and bone ornaments.

Day 4. Following the river bend (Wednesday)

Today is going to be a both longer and faster day. We will go down to the village of Colomers, where we will visit a typically medieval village, with its walls, its church and its paved streets. We will cross the Fluvia River and, galloping along the river, we will head to Sant Jordi Desvalls, where we will also see its narrow streets. Crossing fairy tale’s forests, we will arrive at Llampaies and we will enjoy a new gallop on the way back home.

Girona (optional) After lunch we offer you the opportunity to drive you to visit Girona. The capital of the region, this little city has wonderful shady streets, beautiful architecture, the widest gothic cathedral in Europe and great shopping.

Day 5. Northern villages (Thursday)
