Jesús / Cádiz

Jesús was born in 1976 in Cádiz. Since his childhood he has been working with horses, among other things, as a cattle driver (cowboy). It was in 2014 when he started to use his passion for horses and the nature around him for tourism. He started riding routes with tourists of 1 or 2 hours and in 2017 he decided to start his own company in the field of horse tourism, and he also started offering multi-day tours. Jesus, with a good sense of humour, is a confident guide and host. He is friendly with a sense of adventure.
As he was born in this area, he knows the bridleways and trails and is able to take you to all the beautiful places. He can also tell you about the history and wildlife of the area. You will enjoy two Natural Parks. The Alcornocales Natural Park contains the biggest and best cared for area of cork oaks in Europe. The Natural Park of the Straits of Gibraltar is where hundreds of millions of birds cross every year on their migration between Europe and Africa. The horses, Andalusian and Hispano-Arab, are friendly and committed. They are very well looked after and are completely trustworthy.

Campo de Gibraltar is a region located southeast of the province of Cádiz acting as a border between Europe and Africa, as well as the Gateway between the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea. That and the colony of Gibraltar makes it one of the top strategic locations in Europe. We’ll enjoy two natural parks, Los Alcornocales Natural Park, which houses the biggest, most continuous and best cared of mass of cork oaks. Its botanical and mycological richness justly earns Los Alcornocales its fame as the last European forest. The second Natural Park will be El Estrecho Natural Park, where hundreds of millions of birds cross the strait every year in their migratory voyage between Europe and Africa, making it not only one of the most prominent destinations for bird watching, but one of the most ecologically diverse places in Europe too.

This package comprises of five horseback routes, averaging in a 5 hour horseback ride a day and a visit to The Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art, based in Jerez de la Frontera, is famous worldwide for their unique show “How Andalusian Horses Dance”, that both exhibits and summarizes in a seemingly

But the alternative route in the inland was also not without difficulties. La Trocha was a horseshoe road, impossible to pass with carriages. The road was used by those who were brave and those who dared to take the road. Because by taking this road they saved a day travelling on their way to Cadiz. Frequented by smugglers it was a complicated crossing because of the time, according to the travellers, any encounter raised suspicions. It is a hidden area of the Natural Park of Los Alcornocales, you will enjoy one of the most beautiful and wild landscapes of Andalusia. Europe and as far away as America, to follow this route from the coast of Spain to the Royal city of Ronda. Here also we will see traces of the Moorish occupation between the 8th and 15th centuries which left behind towers, castles, and fortresses.
