The westernmost province in Cuba also called the Green Province, is a gift of nature. Tobacco is grown in the extraordinarily fertile lands and valleys. This tobacco is used to produce the Habanos old Cuban cigars, the best in the world. The province has two mountain ranges, one of them is the Sierra de los Órganos, of great geological interest, including the Viñales Valley with its “mogotes” or pincushion hills, and many caves, including the Indian Cave, and the Santo Tomás Cave System. Viñales is the ideal place for watching local indigenous wildlife.In all of our programs, you have the opportunity to enjoy the Cuban hospitality, sleeping in the guajiros (field workers) farms, having lunch together or drinking and dancing with them during the evening.

DAY 1 : HAVANA
Reception at the hotel Presidente**** or similar. Accommodation at the Hotel, beside the Malecon of Havana.
DAY 2 : HAVANA – CHARCO AZUL
After breakfast, transfer to the Finca beside the beaches of Playas del Este (30m). Ride to the beach for a swin and back to the Finca via a different route. Aprox. a 3 hour ride. After lunch, 1hour30m drive to «Finca Charco Azul» in Cayajabos, Artemisa, at the south of Pinar del Río province and the Sierra del Rosario, Biosphere Reserve. Welcome cocktail. Dinner and accommodation at the Finca. First introduction to the Cuban music.
DAY 3 : CHARCO AZUL – MIL CUMBRES
After breakfast, a 3 hour ride through this Finca of about 400 hectares, where the springs of Charco Azul are located. Lunch after a relaxing bath in a swimming-pool. Transfer to Mil Cumbres (2:30 drive). Dinner and accommodation at the Mil Cumbre’s Refuge. Introduction to the live Criolla music.
DAY 4 : MIL CUMBRES – EL BUREN – LOS JAZMINES
After breakfast, horse ride to El Buren. About a 5 hours ride through the Natural Park through the mountains of Cuabal and Pan de Guajaibón, which with an altitude of 692m is the highest point in Pinar del Río province. We stop for a welcome cocktail in the house of a local “Guajiro” family. The route takes us now through mountainous valleys from where we can see the union of Sierra del Rosario and Sierra de los Órganos, with lush vegetation and protected species of birds and trees. Lunch -picnic at El Buren where we can see the stallions of this farm. Transfer to Viñales (1h). Dinner in a local paladar. Accommodation at the Hotel Los Jazmines or similar
or in Casa Particular (private family establishment or boarding house). The hotel Los Jazmines is situated over a smooth hill where you can enjoy the marvelous panoramic and views over the Viñales and Palmarito Valleys. Optional night out at Casa Artex (musical show).
DAY 5 : LOS JAZMINES – VIÑALES – LA GUABINA
Breakfast. Transfer to the horses for a 5 hour ride through the Viñales and Palmarito Valleys, between the spectacular 'Mogotes', conspicuous karst mountains rising like islands from the bottom of the valley, tobacco plantations and rural communities where another guajiro will give us an explanation of the process of cigar-making. Picnic-Lunch at the outside terrace of a nice restaurant. Transfer to Finca La Guabina,12 Km away from Pinar del Río (1h drive). Dinner and accommodation at Finca La Guabina. Traditional Cuban musical evening.
DAY 6 : LA GUABINA
After breakfast, a 4 hours ride inside the Finca La Guabina to discover its beautiful landscape. Picnic- lunch. Option to enjoy an exhibition of the wonderful Apaloosa and Pinto horses of the farm. Dinner and accommodation at Finca La Guabina. Traditional Cuban musical evening.
DAY 7 : LA GUABINA – PINAR DEL RIO - HAVANA
After breakfast, ride for about 3 hours. Lunch. Transfer to Havana. Dinner at a famous restaurant in the district El Vedado. Accommodation at the Hotel Presidente****or similar.
DAY 8 : HAVANA
Breakfast. Day free for sightseeing in Havana. Optional transfer to the beach of Megano, one of the beaches of Playas del Este, a string of white-sand beaches 20 km (12 mi) east of Havana, including lunch in a seafood restaurant (25CUC for a minimum 4 people). Farewell dinner at a local paladar at the Old Havana. Accommodation at the Hotel Presidente****.
DAY 9 : HAVANA
Breakfast. Morning free for sightseeing in Havana. Transfer to the airport at 18:00. Flight back to Europe

During this program in Cuba’s Central Region you will enjoy one of the best rides in the country, while having the opportunity to visit Cuba's beautiful colonial towns and swim in the crystalline waters of the Atlantic Ocean and Caribbean Sea. Ciego de Ávila is a green province where tobacco and coffee are grown in the fertile valleys. DAY 1 HAVANA
Reception at the Hotel Presidente**** or similar. Dinner in a local paladar (family restaurant) and accommodation at the hotel, beside the Malecon of Havana.
DAY 2. HAVANA – CIENFUEGOS-TRINIDAD
Transfer to Cienfuegos (3hr drive). Lunch in a paladar (family restaurant) and a guided walking tour through the historical center of Cienfuegos, the 'Southern Pearl'. Founded in 1819 it has the richest collection of architecture and urban design of all the southern cities. Transfer to Trinidad (1h). Founded in 1514, Trinidad is a World Heritage Site due to its well preserved jewels of colonial Caribbean architecture. In the great historic town centre a lot of music and cultural activities take place in the evenings. Dinner and accommodation is in a nice casa particular (private family establishment or boarding house).
DAY 3. TRINIDAD – PLAYA ANCÓN – MENESES
After breakfast a 3 hour ride to waterfall of Hoyo del Pilon through the Ingenios Valley (a nominated Archeological Reserve by UNESCO). Transfer (15m) to Playa Ancón for a swim in the Caribbean Sea and a seafood lunch. Transfer to Meneses (3h drive). Welcome Cocktail and dinner with produce from the farm. Accommodation at Los Álamos. Option of an introduction to Cuban country music « Criolla ».
DAY 4. MENESES
After breakfast approximately a 5 hour ride to the Atlantic Ocean with Criollo de trote horses . Along the way we will have occasion to enjoy the diversity of the Cuban flora seeing trees such as royal palm, guásima, yamagua and big carob trees. Arrival at the historic Camp of the Comandante Camilo Cienfuegos and the Northern Front de Las Villas. Our guide will give you a good introduction about the historic events of this place and about the bird species of this area such as the Tocororo, the national bird of Cuba and the Zunzún one of the smallest birds in the world. Picnic-lunch and ride back to Los Álamos. Dinner and accommodation at Los Álamos.
DAY 5. MENESES –FINCA SANTA RUBIA
After breakfast, transfer to Finca Santa Rubia (1h), a lovely 60 hectares private family farm with its plantation and tobacco-drying barn. After a welcome cocktail with our hosts Marbel and Yalianis, the horses are checked prior to a 4 hour ride. Return to the Finca for lunch. During the afternoon you will have the opportunity to see the animals they breed on the farm. Dinner and accommodation at Finca Santa Rubia and an introduction to Cuban country music.
DAY 6. FINCA SANTA RUBIA – CASA DE EVELIO – FINCA SANTA RUBIA
After breakfas we ride to Casa Evelio arriving for lunch. During the ride, we will enjoy magnificent panoramic views and admire the diversity of Cuban flora, observing the Royal palm, banana, mango and carob trees. After a little rest, we will ride to Presa Florencia. It is here where we will have the opportunity for some gallops before our return to the Finca. Approximately five hours on horseback. Dinner and accommodation at Finca Santa Rubia.
DAY 7. FINCA SANTA RUBIA – CAYO GUILLERMO.
After breakfast, we take our last ride around The Finca Santa Rubia to see the workings of this farm. During the ride we will see coffee and sugarcane plantations, and have the opportunity for some more gallops during our return to the Finca to enjoy some equestrian activities of the local guajiros, and watch some rodeo. Approximately 4 hours on horseback. Throughout the morning, our hosts slow roast a whole pig for us to have for lunch. After lunch transfer to Cayo Guillermo (2h) where we will arrive just in time for a swim. Dinner and accommodation at the
DAY 8. CAYO GUILLERMO – MORÓN – SANTA CLARA.
Today we enjoy a swim at the beautiful beach of Playa Pilar one of the beaches of Cayo Guillermo beside the Atlantic Ocean renowned for the variety of birds and the high level of conservation of their maritime ecosystems. After a seafood meal transfer to Morón (2h) where we will stop for few minutes at “El Gallo de Moron” the famous monument of the city before we continue our trip to Santa Clara. Dinner in a local paladar and accommodation at the hotel.
DAY 9. SANTA CLARA – LA HABANA
After breakfast, transfer to Havana (3h). We will stop for a few minutes to visit the Mausoleum of Che Guevara. Arrival at Havana and afternoon free for sightseeing Old Havana. Farewell dinner in a great restaurant in Old Havana with a live show performed by old members of the Buena Vista Social Club. Accommodation at the Hotel Presidente**** or similar.
DAY 10. HAVANA
After breakfast, a guided walking tour through the historical center of Old Havana. Return transfer to the airport at 18:00h.

DAY 1: SANTIAGO DE CUBA Reception at the airport of Santiago de Cuba and transfer to our Casa Particular (private family establishment or boarding house) in the exclusive neighborhood of Vista Alegre. DAY 2: SANTIAGO DE CUBA After breakfast transfer to Rancho El Dajao. Welcome cocktail and ride to Puerto Boniato, the mountain pass where it was the route which separates the army of Fidel and the one of Batista. After enjoying the view over the Bay of Santiago de Cuba and drink the Pru, refreshing traditional peasant drink of the East of Cuba, return to the ranch. 3 hours ride. Lunch with typical products from the organic agriculture of the farm. Visit to Santa Iphigenia Cemetery, the Moncada Headquarter and the Fortresses of El Morro. Dinner in a typical paladar. Accommodation in Casa Particular.
DAY 3: SANTIAGO DE CUBA – BAYAMO - NIQUERO Transfer to Bayamo (2h). Visit to Parque Feria where we will meet the horses for a 2 hours ride and possibility to enjoy a Rodeo, subject to availability. Lunch in a local restaurant. Horse and Carriage tour to visit the most emblematic

places of the city of Bayamo. Transfer to Manzanillo and Niquero (Approx.2’5h). Dinner and accommodation at the Hotel of Niquero.
DAY 4: NIQUERO – ALEGRIA DE PIO - NIQUERO Transfer to the emblematic place of Los Cayuelos, where we can have a walk in the same landing site where the group of revolutionaries has done the disembarkation, walking through the mangrove forest. Visit to the Museum Portada de la Libertad, where we will see a reproduction of the Granma ship. Transfer to the small village of the l ‘East, where the horses are waiting for us. Ride to Alegría de Pío. Along the way we will have occasion to enjoy the diversity of the Cuban flora watching trees such as coconuts palm, royal palm, guásima, bananas, mango and big carob trees. Arrival to the forest Community of Río Nuevo where we have lunch. Four and a half hour ride. Transfer to Niquero and accommodation and dinner at the hotel.
DAY 5: NIQUERO - DURÁN– CINCO PALMAS - BARTOLOME MASÓ. After breakfast transfer to Community of Durán (1h approx.). Ride to Cinco Palmas. During the way we will pass by some peasant communities with banana and coffee plantations enjoying magnificent panoramic views of the mountains of Sierra Maestra. We will have the opportunity to enjoy a Cuban beer at the same place where Fidel and the rest of the revolutionaries cross the road to Pilon. During the rest of the ride there are opportunities for some small gallops. Arrival at Cinco Palmas, the place where Fidel and Raúl Castro expeditionary forces came together and where we will have lunch in the house of one of the guajiros (field workers) of this village. Five and a half hour on horseback. After lunch transfer to Bartolome Masó (2h). Dinner and accommodation at the Hotel Balcón de la Sierra.
DAY 6: BARTOLOME MASÓ – SANTO DOMINGO – BARTOLOMÉ MASÓ Transfer to Las Mercedes (20m) to meet the horses where we the Commandant Che Guevara had his camp in Sierra Maestra. Approx. four hour ride to Providencia. During the way we will have the opportunity to stop for refreshing with some fruits and drinking coconut water. Along the way we will pass by where took place the historic and decisive battle of Sierra Maestra. Transfer to Bartolome Masó for lunch. Dinner and accommodation at the Hotel Villa Balcón de la Sierra. Mmusical activity with the legendary group El Quinteto Rebelde and introduction to the Cuban Son dance.
DAY 7: BARTOLOMÉ MASÓ - COMANDANCIA LA PLATA – BAYAMO - SANTIAGO DE CUBA Transfer to Villa Santo Domingo. After a small break departure in 4x4 to climb to Alto del Naranjo (5.5Km). Guided walking tour to la Comandancia de La Plata (3 Km). Visit to the installations designed by Celia Sánchez and Fidel where it was set the most important colony of the rebel camp and where they have organized the six last months of the war direction in the cabin of Fidel, de Radio Rebelde station, hospital and others interesting places. Our guide will give you a good introduction about the historic events of this place and about the characteristics of the Flora and Fauna of Sierra Maestra. Return to Alto del Naranjo by foot to get the jeeps back to Santo Domingo where we have a peasant meal at Casa de Junco with a roast pork (slow-cooked during the all journey) waiting for our lunch. Transfer to Bayamo. After a small break, transfer to Santiago de Cuba. Dinner in a local paladar and accommodation at the Casa Particular.
DAY 8 : SANTIAGO DE CUBA - HAVANA Early transfer to the airport of Santiago de Cuba and flight to Havana. Arrival to the Cuban capital and free day to feel the magic of the Old Havana. Farewell dinner with a great musical show. Accommodation at the hotel Presidente****.
DAY 9: HAVANA Free morning to sightseeing Havana. Transfer to the airport at 18:00.
